Personal Data\u202fand\u202fProcessing.\u00a0<\/h4>

For the purposes of this Notice:<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

\u201c<\/span>Personal Data<\/span><\/b>\u201d <\/span>means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of such natural person; and<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

\u201c<\/span>Processing<\/span><\/b>\u201d means any operation or set of operations which is performed on Personal Data or on sets of Personal Data, whether by automated means such as collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure, or destruction.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Purposes and Legal Bases for Processing Personal Data.<\/span><\/b>\u00a0 Locus is accountable for Personal Data that it receives and subsequently transfers to third parties.\u00a0 The types of third parties with which we may share your Personal Data are set out in the sections of this Notice entitled \u201c<\/span>HOW DO WE SHARE THE PERSONAL DATA.\u201d<\/span><\/b>\u202f The categories of Personal Data Locus may receive, as well as the purposes for which Locus collects and uses the Personal Data, are set out in other relevant sections of this Notice, including in those entitled \u201c<\/span>WHAT PERSONAL DATA DO WE COLLECT<\/span><\/b>\u201d and \u201c<\/span>HOW DO WE USE THE PERSONAL DATA COLLECTED.\u201d<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

The lawful basis for our Processing of your Personal Data will depend on the purposes of the Processing.\u00a0 For most Personal Data Processing activities covered by this Notice, the lawful basis is that the Processing is necessary for our legitimate business interests.\u00a0 Where we Process Personal Data in relation to a contract, or a potential contract, with you, the lawful basis is that the Processing is necessary for the performance of our contract with you or to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract.\u00a0 If we are required to share Personal Data with law enforcement agencies or other governmental bodies, we do so on the basis that we are under a legal obligation to do so.\u00a0 We will also use consent as the legal basis where we deem appropriate or to the extent required by applicable law, for example, before we collect precise location data from your mobile device.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>
